Happy
Birthday!!

Notes from the Committee:
BDSR
final Installment Due
The final
payment for BDSR is due now.İ Due to an
increase in the fee, this yearís total cost is $135.İ ButÖ because we met our Friends of Scouting goal, that is a $20
savings per scout.İ We have room for one
more scout.
Philmont
ë01 Installment Due
Each
scout should have $250 in the kitty at the end of May.İ
We have
Peder Dokken to thank for ìdiscoveringî the possibility of a second trek!İ Cool beans.İ
That means we have room for our waiting adults as well as about 8 more
scouts.İ If youíd like to join, just
give our treasurer a $250 check to catch up with our monthly budget plan.
Thanks to
the Boulder Breakfast Optimists for being our sponsor and donating $250 to the
troop.

Water
Safety Afloat and Safe Swim Defense Training for adults will be 5/31/00 7PM at
St. Andrews Presbyterian Boulder, 37th and Baseline.İ Contact Dave Worthondike 303-499-6568.İ Please let Roger Perry know by 5/22/00 if you are planning to go
so he can phone in a head count.
BSA water
safety training is required for all aquatic activity.İ It is also required for all adults going on a National Travel
permitÖ for example,İ this summer's
Yellow Stone canoe trip.
İ
Who was that masked whisteling manÖ?
Don't
Panic. The next time you see Bruce Keith with a police whistle you will know
what to do.İ It's not often you get to
use toilet paper for bandages and haul Nancy Smith on a stretcher.İ You all did a good job in the emergency
drill on 5/16/00.İ Dang, the second time
you did the fire drill you almost cleared the church as fast as you move when
the "okay" for cake was announced on honors night.İ I need to be more careful when I mention
fire drills around Bruce and Brent. Good thing I did mention ... uh never mind.
I float.
Do you? June is Aquatics month, plan on getting wet, finishing up swimming
requirements for rank advancement, and perhaps working your way back into a
canoe so I can tip you out again.
