Philmont '01 Prep Hikes

8/12 Red Deer Lake. For details see Jerry Arnold. Looks like it'll be a day-hike for some and an overnighter for others.

Positions of Leadership

See our Scoutmaster for positions we need to fill. For example, the Lost patrol needs Troop Guides.

OA

Order of the Arrow will give an overview on 7/31 and hold elections 8/14. Eligible scouts are First Class and have 15 days of camping. The Vigil is scheduled for 9/15 - 9/16 at BDSR.

Troop Equipment Missing

Please return all troop equipment to the church closet. Two backpacking first aid kits are empty and several water filters are missing. Our Troop quartermaster, Grant Harness, has been working hard to get our troop gear in shape. Help him out! Last year we spent over $700 on new gear - let's take good care of it.
