Roadrunners: After a two hour drive from Boulder to BDSR
we finally arrived.
And after long lines at the medic we finally reached
camp.
Then we had time for unpacking, and doing swim checks.
After this time of relaxation we went to the dining hall (we
actually waited 15 minutes for the Lost Patrol to get
ready!) Then at 7:45 we went to the opening campfire.

Roadrunners: Today my patrol did all or most of their merit badges. We got homework for a couple of our classes. It looks like most of our merit badges are pretty hard or have lots of paperwork.

Roadrunners
The Roadrunners are perfecting their skit. Ben and Max are having their fight-scene troubles. The monster mash trip is leaving tonight. Most scou; are progressing well on their merit badges. A few scouts have concocted really nice hiking sticks.

Roadrunners: For morning flag ceremony we saw a six-foot rocket get launched. There was another one but it didn't work. We had normal merit badge classes. Max and Ben's fighting scene during the campfire is where creativity saved us. Some of the other plays. Chase was a good and responsible MC. Tomorrow we are looking forward to cleaning the showers!

Roadrunners: Today the Roadrunners tried to finish their merit badges and were successful in a lot of departments. We are all looking forward tohe quadrathon with scouts from both patrols participating. We also have the conservation project working at the COPE area.
At lunch Benjamin and his dad played Harmonica. The name of their song was, "Ain't got no water, and ain't got no sunscreen, and I miss my momma blues." Bruce Keith, our scoutmaster also pretended to play, but mostly danced around and climbed on the fire place and entertained everybody.

Roadrunners: Today was the Quarathon, and although it was fun, we finished last in our heat. But what the heck, it was fun! Today was a free period all day so most of us tried to finish up some merit badges. Tonight is the closing camp fire and tomorrow we go home. Today the service project at the COPE area was long but we played fun scenes with the leader. This evening our troop did the closing ceremony. Several people said lines from "My Flag," then we lowered the flags while Ben's dad played taps on his harmonica. We made a mistake folding the American flag and had to refold it so that only the blue stars were showing. We almost dropped the Swedish flag, but Robert grabbed the end before it touched the ground.
